This beautiful besar island is acclaimed for its rich and colorful marine life among the colorful coral reefs. Accommodation is in cabins with rural-style charm. Visitors can enjoy fishing organized island tours, snorkeling and scuba diving.

You can get to Pulau Besar in Mersing. It is an hour away by boat. Or you can take a boat and be there in 30 minutes. Boats can be chartered from 8.30 to 8pm in the dock, depending on the conditions of the tide.
