Tiong Hua Chinese Heritage Museum

Tiong Hua Chinese Heritage Museum in Jalan Ibrahim – Johor Bahru, has been implemented at the expense of the RM1.2mil which completed the daunting task of reconstruction of 200 years of history Chinese. It has 1 300 historical document and artifacts, five major Chinese clan called Hakka, Hokkien, Teochew, Cantonese and Hainan details.
Most the artifact and manuscripts have been given by owner-families and preserved to train the next generation on the past of their clans, history of China in Johor Bahru was dated back over two centuries. The Museum has been made possible thanks to the work of scholars of Malaysia, Singapore and China.
The oldest and most memorable exhibitions were two signboard which made in 1874 that location above of the Chinese temple here. And you may see a construction of the old buildings of the State, including Palais du Sultan had been given by Wong Ah Fook association donations of welcomes most historical preserve Chinese heritage value items.
Johor Menteri Besar Dato’ Abdul Ghani Othman had launched the Museum on 3 October 2009.He said the Museum would interest tourists and those who want to know more about the Chinese community of Johor.
